COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • We aim to provide the highest quality youth basketball experience in the tri-state area.

All practices will be purposeful, competitive & educational. Players will be taught the game in depth, held accountable & pushed to maximize their potential.

  • Our Spring 2026 teams will be coached directly by Matt Flood, Mike Muggeo, and other qualified coaches.

  • Game schedules will be determined based on the skill level of each individual team.

Our older and/or more advanced teams will participate in a variety of highly competitive events throughout the state of New Jersey, New York City & in some instances beyond.

Our younger and/or less advanced teams will participate in smaller and more local tournaments.

Tentative events include: Hoop Group, Rose Classic, NYG Hoops Report, Gym Rat Challenge, Zero Gravity & Basketball Shootout.

If you have any questions regarding tournaments, please email Coach Mike (info@njhavoc.com)

  • There will likely be 1-2 trips for our more advanced middle school teams that may require booking a hotel for the weekend. As the season gets closer (early/mid March), we will have a clearer idea as to what the schedule will look like.

  • There will never be more than 10 players on the team. In certain situations, we will take practice players, but there will never be more than 10 players at a game.

  • Playing time is not equal or guaranteed. Playing time is primarily determined by on court performance, practice attendance & attitude.

  • We are looking for players who are eager to commit to our team. We strongly discourage playing for another club/aau basketball team. The expectation is that you will fully commit to us & we do not believe it is possible to fully commit if you are playing for multiple teams.

  • Practices for the spring 2026 season will take place at the Cresskill Community Center & Saint Mary’s (Dumont).

  • In most instances practices will be 75 minutes long.

  • The expectation is that all players will consistently attend both weekly practices. If you are unable commit to the practice schedule, we are not the right program for you.
